Refund and Returns Policy

At Game Day Trains we understand that there may be a rare reason to return a product to our company.

It is important that you email us immediately at for proper guidance and direction regarding returning an item. One of our conductors will contact you and guide you through the process.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging and outer shipping carton.

Shipping a return

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase (invoice or packing slip). You will be responsible for the costs of packing and shipping items you return to us. Shipping costs are Non-Refundable. You are also responsible for the safe return of any items you send back to us. If you are not prepared to absorb the cost of any item(s) you are shipping in the event they are lost or damaged, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item(s) or that your item(s) will be received in good condition.

We reserve the right, solely at our discretion and determined on a case-by-case basis, to accept a return

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge of the original sale price if not exchanged for merchandise of equal value.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, less the 15% restocking fee and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within fifteen days.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and one of our team members will send you the procedure for returning your Game Day Trains product to our company warehouse.
